Ensure Storage Logging is Enabled for Table Service for 'Read', 'Write', and 'Delete' Requests
Why This Matters
Azure Table storage logs capture detailed information about every read, write, and delete request, including timing, authentication details, and request sizes. Without this logging enabled, your organization loses visibility into unauthorized access attempts, data exfiltration, and anomalous usage patterns. Storage Analytics logging is not enabled by default, so you must actively configure it to support security investigations and compliance auditing.
What Aether365 Checks
Aether365 verifies that diagnostic settings for the Azure Table service include logging for StorageRead, StorageWrite, and StorageDelete operations. This check appears in the Aether365 dashboard under the azure-storage-accounts checks category.
