Email Integration

Aether365 sends scan result summaries by email to configured recipients. Available on all plans.

Setup

Email Format

Scan completion emails are sent from noreply@aether365.io and include:

  • Scan type (Compliance or Exposure) and tenant name
  • Date and time the scan completed
  • Overall security score
  • Pass, fail, and skip counts
  • Severity breakdown of failures (Critical / High / Medium / Low)
  • A direct link to the full results in the dashboard

The email is formatted as HTML with a plain-text fallback.

Multiple Recipients

To send scan emails to multiple recipients, invite each person as a team member. Each team member manages their own notification preferences independently. See Managing Team Members.

Sending to a Shared Inbox or Distribution List

You can invite a shared inbox address (e.g., security-team@example.com) as a team member. The invitation email will arrive at the shared inbox. Once accepted, scan emails will be sent to that address.

Spam Filtering

Aether365 sends email through a verified domain with a configured DMARC/DKIM/SPF record. If emails are landing in spam:

  1. Add noreply@aether365.io and @aether365.io to your email allowlist
  2. Ask your email administrator to whitelist the sender domain
  3. Contact support@aether365.io if the problem persists

Unsubscribing

Every scan email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also disable email notifications in Settings > Notifications.
