Ensure that Sways cannot be shared with people outside of your organization
Why This Matters
When external sharing is enabled for Microsoft Sway, users can distribute interactive reports, newsletters, and presentations to anyone outside your organization. This creates a significant risk of accidental data leakage if sensitive business information is embedded in those Sway documents. Blocking external sharing ensures that all Sway content stays within your tenant and under your administrative control.
What Aether365 Checks
This check verifies that the Sway service setting "Let people in your organization share their sways with people outside your organization" is disabled. It appears in the Aether365 dashboard under the Microsoft 365 checks category.
